Henri Grandjean Lights Up Geneva’s Harbour From Quai Gustave-Ador

Henri Grandjean, a Geneva watchmaking house with a strong identity and deep local roots, is taking a new step in its visual reach by choosing one of the most sought-after signage locations in the city. Since 31 May 2026, its XXL illuminated signature has stood on the rooftop of Quai Gustave-Ador 4, facing the Jet d’Eau, at the heart of a panorama that captures the very soul of Geneva.

A bold choice, in a highly symbolic setting. Quai Gustave-Ador runs along the harbour and opens directly onto the Jet d’Eau, one of the city’s most visited sites, attracting more than 2 million visitors per year according to TripAdvisor (consulted in June 2026). At a time when Geneva recorded more than 3.5 million hotel overnight stays in 2023¹, establishing a brand on this emblematic quay means placing it at the heart of a space where tourist appeal, architectural heritage and urban life come together.

Force Promotion had the privilege of supporting Henri Grandjean in the marketing of this exceptional location. From identifying the site to coordinating the installation, every step was carried out with the rigour and responsiveness that a project of this scale demands. The installation was completed in partnership with Néon Lumière Staub SA, whose technical expertise ensured a seamless integration of the sign into the building’s architecture, in keeping with the brand’s visual identity.

To document this milestone and preserve a high-quality record of it, a drone video was produced during the installation. This additional service was particularly appreciated by the Henri Grandjean teams for their communication needs.

The unveiling of the sign was marked by an inaugural moment worthy of the setting. Henri Grandjean hosted a cocktail reception aboard a boat on the harbour, offering its guests a privileged view of the illumination of the new luminous signature from the lake. A memorable launch, befitting both the location and a brand that fully embraces its place in the Geneva landscape.
